The Head of the ASC Library and ICT, Jos Damen, is retiring soon after 17 years of dedicated service. As he reflects on his journey, he shares his passion for preserving heritage and ensuring it remains meaningful and accessible. Teaching students about sources and information has always been a highlight of his work. Above all, he hopes to be remembered as someone with a deep love for Africa and a lifelong commitment to knowledge and learning.
